Indonesia is not an ICCF Member Federation, but there are hopes it will become one. This match is designed to be among a series of friendly matches (with many countries including the USA) to help them get enough rated players to spark and sustain the interest to become a new ICCF Member Federation. ICCF-US has begun play (with an official start date of Christmas) in a 20-board Friendly Match against a team from Bulgaria. This match is historically meaningful in two ways. It represents the last country in our 2007-2016 completed "World Tour" of ICCF Member Federations. It is also the first such match between the USA and Bulgaria in recent history - the last match between our countries being "some time" prior to what has been recorded on the ICCF server.
