3rd NAPZ Championship

 

The 3rd North American/Pacific Zone CC Championship started on February 16, 1998, and has now concluded in late July 2001. This event is the Championship of what was formerly known as the Anglo-Pacific Tournament Board but now is called the North America/Pacific Zone of ICCF. The tournament director is Maurice Carter (USA).

The event is category 5 with an IM norm of 9 pts. The first two players qualify for the World Championship Three-Quarter Final. Shoji Terada has earned the IM title, and will become Japan's second CC-IM. Congratulations!
